**Face-to-Face and ONLINE** This discussion-oriented workshop will include strategies for managing your research data and ways to deal with data management issues when working with peers and faculty. Attendance at this workshop provides credit toward earning a NIU transcript notation and certificate in Responsible Conduct of Research. This is a collaborative effort sponsored by the Graduate School and NIU’s Office of Research, Compliance, Integrity and Safety.
Seeking a Position in Academia - Part 2: Navigating the Interview Process

** ONLINE ** This workshop is open to those interested in working in academia. Major topics to be covered include (1) Discussing higher education timeline, job sources, and application materials; (2) Familiarizing yourself with a typical 2-day interview process; (3) Becoming aware of key components in a research statement, (4) Deconstructing an annotated research statement; and (5) Utilize a rubric to write and evaluate your research statement. This workshop meets part of the credit toward the Future Professoriate Program.
