Monthly wireless and telephony charges are no longer billed to most NIU departments, but are handled through central financing.
Because of this, requests for adding wireless connectivity and telephony must be strategically prioritized across the university.
At the end of September, the IT Steering Committee meets to determine a process for requesting and prioritizing the implementation of such requests.
Until that process has been approved and implemented, all centrally funded requests for new wireless connectivity and telephony are on hold.
