Cellular Services: Managed Service Plans represent an exception to the Cellular Stipend Policy for the Departmentally approved provision of NIU-owned equipment and related cellular services.

Computing Access Resources (CAR): Account Management, MyNIU, Financial Management System (FMS), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), OnBase, Blackboard Collaborate, Community, Course, or Content System requests, OneCard / Blackboard Transact, NIUNT Group Membership, Printer Agent Set-up, Streaming Media Hosting, Visual Studio, Domain Name Requests, Web Publishing, Z-ID
Copier Services: Huskie Bucks Cards
Directory Change or Update (Department): Update Departmental information in the online Directory
Directory Change or Update (Faculty / Staff): Update faculty / staff information in the online Directory
Document Services Storefront: NIU stationery, marketing materials (color, short run, custom prints), and office and class materials (black prints)
E-Mail Services: Outlook / Office 365 Shared Mailboxes, Outlook / Office 365 Distribution Groups, and Mailing Lists
IT Customer Portal: Search the NIU IT knowledgebase, submit a ticket online, see current Service Alerts, and check the status of your IT tickets. (For urgent problems, call the Service Desk at 815-753-8100.)
OneCard ID Requests: Request a OneCard ID for newly enrolled students or students scheduled for orientation. If you have previously had an ID card through NIU, visit the OneCard website or contact the OneCard ID Services office at 815-753-9569.
Production Service Requests: Create, Add, Change, or Remove Production Control Jobs
Security Certificate: Request a security certificate from Computer Operations.
Security Services: Firewall Requests
Servers: Virtual Server Request, Open Systems Restore
SharePoint Services: New SharePoint Site
Software: Order software online.
Software Installation Requests: Software installation in AnywhereApps, DoIT Labs, and Smart Clasrooms
Work Order: Submit online for new service or changes to existing service.

Alert: Due to incorrect addressing, all work orders submitted between March 22, 2017 – April 4, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. were undeliverable. The root cause has been identified and is resolved. All future submissions will be routed to appropriately.

If you placed a work order during the noted window, please forward the Confirmation email you received to The DoIT team will make every effort to prioritize your request based on the original submission date.
